The huge
Bentley Speed Six (No 1) whose 6597 cc 180 hp engine is capable of
speeds in excess of 299 km/h. zooms by with its two competent drivers,
Barnato and Birkin, at the wheel. The car effortlessly overtakes the
little 995 cc (no 30) piloted by Dore/Truenet. The difference between
the volumetric capacities of these two engines - an astounding 5602 cc
- clearly illustrates the imbalance of the English-French duel!
